The NCAST Presentation Recorders have changed the way lectures are delivered to the student community. The NCAST Recorder creates one synchronized video from multiple inputs.
The Central Control Module caters to multiple encoders at different locations within the campus. The recorder comes with its own hard disk and is tightly integrated with the digital library.
Recorded lectures are automatically pushed to the digital library, ensuring centralized storage and easy access.
The digital library serves as the central repository for all captured lectures. NCAST Recorders index video files using metadata such as Title of Lecture, Lecturer Name, Date, Topic, Brief Description and Department.
This enables students to search and access the desired lecture easily, even while viewing it offline. Integration with Active Directory ensures complete security.
The quality of the video stream keeps students captivated as it merges audio, video and multimedia streams — giving students the feeling of being present in the lecture hall. Students can view lectures from anywhere, at any time, and on any device.
